Soujourn to Americas Cup

I know, its been awhile for an update.....we have had a fun summer sailing Avalon in the San Juan Islands with a visit to the Wooden Boat festival in Port Townsend and a great reunion at the Vega Rendezvous in Fisherman's Bay Lopez Island. To cap the summer sailing season we couldn't resist flying down to San Francisco to catch the action at the 34 Americas Cup. When we arrived it looked like we might not see any races as it was 8-1 kiwis with one win to wrap it up. But miracle of miracles, oracle went on to win an unprecedented 8 straight races to make a historic win ! what a privilege to be a part of the action

Can dreams come true?

As we sit here in the dreary winter blanket of Seattle, thankfully a sojourn to the annual boat show, lifts our spirits! Although their was plenty to see we  couldn't find the radio we were looking for. So quick online comparisons led to an I-com unit.....can't wait till it arrives.

While on a outing for our anniversary........how many? We went to the famous Seattle Troll for a few candid pics then off to  peruse the local used Chandler. This was Karen's first time at "my" secret store, we found a good classic book but more importantly an old bronze windlass......yeah Armstrong!!

The canvas projects are underway again with a new dodger in mind......dreaming of our sunny future.
